Feedback from the Force has been really positive about his influence,&quot; Schmidt said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It also takes a bit of pressure off one person being the hub to see everything that needs to be seen. Game sense, it&#x27;s hard to coach that. He just sees the game. Sometimes I think as players get older, they see it, but maybe struggle to land it. You can tell he&#x27;s bigger, he&#x27;s fitter, he&#x27;s fast. Outstanding but people that have known his game for a long period of time &#8211; they&#x27;re not surprised by that.&quot;<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"2daed462-d3da-456d-a306-227b59049cdf\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/2daed462-d3da-456d-a306-227b59049cdf-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Jordan Petaia of Australia is tackled by Miriani Modebadze of Georgia.\" data-width=\"3754\" data-height=\"2503\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>LOSERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jordan Petaia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Petaia loomed as \ufeffpotentially one of the great Wallabies when he starred at the 2019 Rugby World Cup as a teenager.<\/p>\n<p>But his struggles since have mirrored Australian rugby&#x27;s as a whole with injury and inconsistency plaguing his career.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old had surgery on his shoulder in April \ufeffbut tellingly was not listed among Wallabies candidates &#8211; including Angus Bell, Max Jorgensen and Dave Porecki &#8211; that were unavailable for selection because of injury.<\/p>\n<p>Petaia is off contract with Rugby Australia at the end of the season and has \ufeffbeen linked with potential moves to both the NFL and NRL.<\/p>\n<p>The outside back has reportedly spoken to NFL International Player Pathway officials about following the lead of star Wales winger Louis Rees-Zammit &#8211; now on the books of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"2cd08f5b-8e15-4c19-81ee-71468603a227\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/2cd08f5b-8e15-4c19-81ee-71468603a227-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Suliasi Vunivalu of Australia is tackled by George North of Wales.\" data-width=\"4338\" data-height=\"2637\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Suliasi Vunivalu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The former NRL star was the most contentious Eddie Jones selection for last year&#x27;s Rugby World Cup after some indifferent Super Rugby form.<\/p>\n<p>That form line has continued in 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nine.com.au\/sport\/rugby\/super-pacific-2024-news-suliasi-vunivalu-foot-trip-video-reds-vs-drua-red-card-highlights-20240520-p5jf16.html\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"and was summed up by a horror homecoming in Suva last month.\">and was summed up by a horror homecoming in Suva last month.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vunivalu was, incredibly, guilty of two blatant foot trips on try-bound Drua players and referee Angus Gardner had no other option but to issue a red card.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old then \ufeffslipped out of the Reds starting line-up with youngsters Tim Ryan and Mac Grealy preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Uncapped Rebels flyer Darby Lancaster has leapfrogged him in the nation\ufeffal pecking order while Brumbies jet Corey Toole is focusing on the Olympics.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"bd46ae68-c964-4150-8c6c-ec3bf3c60cee\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/bd46ae68-c964-4150-8c6c-ec3bf3c60cee-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-width=\"2899\" data-height=\"1933\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Darcy Swain\ufeff<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Schmidt name checked Brumbies duo Swain and \ufeffRyan Lonergan as the unluckiest players to miss out on selection.<\/p>\n<p>Swain&#x27;s Test career has been marred by ill discipline but he has improved in that area this season and filled in as Brumbies captain.\ufeff<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Darcy Swain, he&#x27;s done a great job calling lineouts and running the lineout for the Brumbies, which is a really strong lineout,&quot; Schmidt said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;That&#x27;s a good thing, though.
