Queensland Maroons<\/a> coach Billy Slater<\/a> has offered a blunt response to his rival Michael Maguire as the fallout from Joseph Suaalii's hit on Reece Walsh continues.<\/p>\n

Maguire was asked about the theory that the Blues intentionally targeted Walsh and hit back at the Maroons in a big way<\/a>. <\/p>\n

"You've got to make sure you don't live in glass houses, that's all I'll say," Maguire said on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Slater, who has been tight lipped around the drama surrounding Suaalii and Walsh, wasn't interested in trading barbs.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I've heard the comment, I haven't watched the press conference. I don't really understand the comment to be honest," he said on Nine's 100% Footy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Maroons coach was pressed on whether he believed the comment surrounded any actions on the field or whether \ufeffthere was a personal gripe between him and Maguire.<\/p>\n

"Not that I'm aware of, that's probably a question for him," Slater said.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffLike I said, I don't understand the situation and the whole context around it."<\/p>\n
