Four minutes was all it took for Dustin Martin<\/a> to make his mark on his milestone game at the MCG.<\/p>\n

Fans piled into the stands to celebrate Martin's 300th match in the AFL<\/a>, with many donning the star's signature hairstyle.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old \ufeffbecame the seventh Tigers<\/a> and 104th player in the history of the competition to record a 300-game milestone as he took to the field in Richmond's clash with Hawthorn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As the Hawks attempted to clear the ball out of defence, Tigers midfielder Hugo Ralphsmith took an intercept mark.<\/p>\n

Ralphsmith quickly handballed to Martin on the run, who engineered a kick from the 50m arc to slot the game's first goal. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The fans in the stands erupted as the Tigers celebrated with the milestone man. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Dustin Martin of course kicks the opener! It could only be one man," Fox Footy commentator Mark Howard said.<\/p>\n

"What a star this man is \u2013 who writes his scripts?!"\ufeff<\/p>\n

Three-time premiership-winning teammate Jack Riewoldt \ufeffwas left stunned by the moment.<\/p>\n

"Wowee, the superstar Dustin Martin in game 300," he said.<\/p>\n

"You can see Hugo Ralphsmith, he knew the script, get it to the big No. 4 and he has delivered on the big stage.<\/p>\n

"Eighty-thousand I'd say predominately Richmond supporters in the house today are getting the Dusty chant up and going.<\/p>\n

"The greatest showman turned up."\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Hawks hit back after Martin's exhilarating moment, kicking the next three goals.<\/p>\n

Hawthorn proved to be too strong for the Tigers in the second half, placing a dark cloud over Martin's celebrations.<\/p>\n

Mabior Chol nailed four majors as Hawthorn skipper James Sicily had 31 disposals and 13 marks. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Tensions began to boil over as the siren sounded in the third quarter, however, the heat of the visitors was too powerful for the Tigers, who finished 48-points behind at full-time.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Martin described the milestone as a "surreal moment."\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Disappointing result for the club, but I love the Tiger army so much," Martin said to Fox Footy after the game.<\/p>\n

\"Dustin<\/p>\n

"I love the club so much. It means the absolute world to me. All the love I received this week has just meant the absolute world to me, so thanks to everyone who sent me a message, social media, on the radio.<\/p>\n

"I felt so loved this week so I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart."<\/p>\n
