M\ufeffatildas<\/a> superstar Sam Kerr<\/a> has signed a contract extension with Chelsea FC<\/a>, keeping her in London until at least the end of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old, who is sidelined with an ACL injury, revealed on Thursday night (AEST) that she had re-committed to the English powerhouse for two more years.<\/p>\n

Before announcing she had re-signed, Kerr and Chelsea teased fans that she was leaving the club with an emotional social media video.<\/p>\n

"My time at Chelsea has been unforgettable," she said.<\/p>\n

"Lots of great memories made, lifelong dreams, winning trophies, but the things that will stick with me the most are the memories shared with fans and my teammates.<\/p>\n

"To the fans, just remember that I'll always be Chelsea. When I joined this place, everything felt alienated to me, but now, this place feels like home."<\/p>\n

But just 20 minutes later, Kerr revealed that she was indeed staying put.<\/p>\n

"What's all this? I'm not leaving," she said.<\/p>\n

The striker has been a prominent part of Chelsea's WSL success over recent years, helping them to multiple trophies and scoring 58 goals in 75 appearances.<\/p>\n
