J\ufeffayden Sullivan is adamant he will be at the Wests Tigers<\/a> next season, despite the club giving the halfback permission to leave the club at the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

As first reported by Wide World of Sports on Monday night<\/a>, the joint-venture had found a suitor for Sullivan in the Super League, despite having three years to run on his deal.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old signed a long-term contract worth an estimated $2.6 million with the Tigers in the off-season, \ufeffbut has struggled for form and was overlooked early in the season in favour of Aidan Sezer and Lachlan Galvin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sullivan's future appeared to be headed overseas given the interest and his current club's attempts to offload him, but in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a>, he has doubled down on his desire to remain at Concord and fight for his NRL career.<\/p>\n

"One-hundred per cent, I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon," he said.<\/p>\n

"I'm a Wests Tiger for the next four years, that's what I plan on doing. Personally, I don't think anything has changed. At the end of the day we are all human, and it probably does take an effect on me. But I've got a really good support base around me.<\/p>\n

"It's been tough, but it will only make me stronger."<\/p>\n

With the arrival of Jarome Luai next season, as well as the presence of both Galvin and Latu Fainu, it's no secret that Sullivan faces an uphill battle to lock down a halves spot.<\/p>\n

But the talented playmaker is determined to make things work at the Tigers.<\/p>\n

"Everyone wants to play first grade," Sullivan said. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"That's what I want to do, play my best footy and be in the starting 17.<\/p>\n

"I love the club, I feel the move has been really good for me."<\/p>\n
