UFC<\/a> boss Dana White\ufeff slammed Mike Tyson's fight with Jake Paul<\/a>, saying "nobody wants to see Mike get beat by this f—ing jerk".<\/p>\n

White has clashed with Paul on numerous occasions but remained tight-lipped when the bout was announced.<\/p>\n

Yet he could not help but remind fight fans about the huge age difference and claimed Paul is not the real deal.<\/p>\n

"When this fight happens, Tyson will be 58 f—ing years old," White told the Flagrant podcast on Thursday.<\/p>\n

"A f—ing almost 60-year-old man shouldn't be fighting a 27-year-old guy. Under any circumstances. Even if it's Mike Tyson, it's just f—ing ridiculous."<\/p>\n

White pointed to Paul's split decision loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023, noting that Paul fell short when he fought someone comparable in age and experience.<\/p>\n

"My biggest problem with the Jake Paul thing and how this plays out is, when he actually fought somebody who was a boxer, who had the same type of record he has, who was his age, who is his size, he f—ing lost," White said.<\/p>\n

"So, they're never gonna go that f—ing route again, right?"<\/p>\n

Tyson hasn't fought professionally since June 2005, but he has been training regularly for several years. He fought Roy Jones Jr. in an entertaining exhibition in Los Angeles in November 2020.<\/p>\n

Texas boxing officials have sanctioned Tyson's meeting with Paul as a legitimate bout with eight two-minute rounds and unusually heavy gloves.<\/p>\n

Tyson will turn 58 before the fight, which was scheduled to be streamed on Netflix in what's likely to be a massive payday for both fighters.<\/p>\n

Tickets already purchased for the fight, which was to be held at the Dallas Cowboys' home stadium, will be honoured on the new fight date, promoters said.<\/p>\n

The rescheduled fight is also expected to be in Arlington.<\/p>\n

"I'm not against it. I love Mike Tyson. He's f—ing almost 60 years old, you know what I mean? My f—ing back is killing me today. Killing me. I have no idea why. I guess it's because I'm fifty-f—ing-four.<\/p>\n

"This guy [Paul] is 27, he's in his prime as a human, and it's f—ing ridiculous.<\/p>\n
