C\ufeffollingwood<\/a> coach Craig McRae<\/a> has played down concerns for 2023 Norm Smith Medal winner Bobby Hill, who suffered an ankle injury at Thursday training.<\/p>\n

It sparks even more concerns for the growing casualty list at the Pies, which sits at 13 without Hill on it.<\/p>\n

Jordan De Goey is still sidelined, alongside the likes of veteran Scott Pendlebury, Jamie Elliott and Brody Mihocek.<\/p>\n

But McRae said Hill's ankle tweak, which occurred towards the end of training, isn't worrying anyone at the club.<\/p>\n

"He is fine, he just tweaked his ankle a little bit," McRae said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

"We've got four days before our game, so there is no concern there."<\/p>\n

Hill has not been sent for scans, with hopes he'll be OK to face Melbourne on Monday in their King's Birthday clash.\ufeff<\/p>\n

McRae also shut down concerns surrounding goal sneak Jamie Elliott's return date from a vascular issue<\/a><\/p>\n

There were fears earlier in the week that Elliot could miss the rest of the 2024 season<\/a>, but in good news, McRae says finals are the goal for his return.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"There was some unknown timeframe around Jamie's injury and we had to work through that, but we got some really good news during the week that the treatment he'd been using has been working," McRae said.<\/p>\n

In even better news, Elliott was running on Thursday as he works his fitness back up.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\"Elliott<\/p>\n

"He is on the mend and he did his first running session," McRae said.<\/p>\n

"We are hoping he is six to eight weeks away."<\/p>\n
