A\ufeffdelaide<\/a>'s embarrassing, winless MCG streak has continued, going down to Hawthorn<\/a> by 27 points on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Crows have yet to win a game at the MCG since their infamous 2017 grand final drubbing at the hands of\ufeff Richmond, which started the Tigers' dynasty.<\/p>\n

But the win for Hawthorn will likely come at a serious cost, as Changkuoth Jiath was cited for a headbutt against Adelaide's Mitch Hinge.<\/p>\n

In the second term, Jiath and Hinge got into a melee, before Hinge placed one hand lightly around Jiath's neck.<\/p>\n

The Hawks defender was agitated by the act, then moving in to headbutt Hinge.<\/p>\n

He was put on report by an umpire after Hinge was given a free kick.<\/p>\n

Headbutts are graded as intentional conduct, but it will now be up to the MRO to decide whether the action was high, medium or low impact.<\/p>\n

It only has to be graded as low impact for Jiath to be sidelined for a week.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Apart from Jiath's brain fade, the Hawks' fifth win of the season was another impressive display from Sam Mitchell's young brigade.<\/p>\n

Dylan Moore kicked five goals and had 27 touches, while Jai Newcombe had 26 disposals.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Crows' losing streak at the MCG has reached double digits, recording their 10th loss at the venue since the grand final heartbreak of 2017.<\/p>\n

\ufeffMatt Crouch was best on with 35 disposals for the Crows, while Hinge managed to see a lot of the footy, with 31 touches.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHawthorn has jumped to 12th on the ladder with a 5-7 record, while the Crows dipped to 14th, sitting with a 4-7 record.<\/p>\n
