G\ufeffeelong<\/a> coach Chris Scott<\/a> says he's far rom panicking yet, despite going 0-4 for the first time in his coaching career.<\/p>\n

After starting 7-0, the Cats have hit a major form slump, losing their last four matches in painful fashion.<\/p>\n

Their fourth loss on the trot was at the hands of GWS by four points at GMHBA Stadium in round 11.<\/p>\n

It's also the first time Geelong has gone 0-4 since early 2006.<\/p>\n

Now, they face the challenge of Richmond at their home ground again, hoping to snap a three-game losing streak at Kardinia Park.<\/p>\n

But Scott isn't stressed just yet, despite the Cats lack of midfield and ruck prowess\ufeff, esepcially facing up against Richmond big man Toby Nankervis.<\/p>\n

"I didn't think we were flying at the start of the year, even though the scoreline was 7-\ufeff0," Scott said on Friday.<\/p>\n

"But I don't think it's been a disaster over the last month."<\/p>\n

The Cats two-time premiership coach\ufeff is also not taking the 17th-placed Tigers lightly, considering their one win of 2024 came against the ladder-leading Swans, who sit 10-1.<\/p>\n

\"Cats<\/p>\n

"Sydney are clearly the best team in the competition as it stands right now," Scott said.<\/p>\n

"The only team that's beaten them is Richmond. We're expecting that version.<\/p>\n

Meantime, Richmond coach Adem Yze is also holding the same mentality as Scott.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We're going down there with nothing to lose," Yze said on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Tigers have already prepared accordingly, narrowing their boundary line at Punt Road, to mirror the smaller width of Geelong's home ground.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt comes after Essendon great Matthew Lloyd called for the Cats to make one move to change up their power through the middle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"I'm putting it on the next De Koning. Sam De Koning," Lloyd said on Nine's Footy Classified.<\/em><\/p>\n

"Can he potentially be something for them (in the ruck)?<\/p>\n

"They could start to invest and teach him how to be a ruckman.<\/p>\n
