Josh Addo-Carr<\/a> has suggested the hamstring injury that ended his night early against the Knights<\/a> might not be as bad as first thought.<\/p>\n

After scoring a double in the first half of his side's 32-2 win<\/a> at McDonald Jones Stadium, Addo-Carr suffered the injury and came from the field early in the second half.<\/p>\n

Nine's sideline reporter Danika Mason said he suffered the injury right in front of her, and immediately called out to the sidelines: "I've done my hammy".<\/p>\n

But speaking to \ufeffMason after the match, he said was "all good".<\/p>\n

"It is alright, I've done this one before, a little strain on the hamstring but I'm all good," he said.<\/p>\n

With a massive ice pack taped to his leg, Addo-Carr provided the Bulldogs much-needed support from the sidelines for the balance of the match. He will likely undergo scans on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Overlooked for Michael Maguire's NSW Origin side, Addo-Carr had been tipped to run riot against the Knights. He said it was "upsetting" to end his night early.<\/p>\n

"It was a tough game – I put so much effort in from the start of the game and to fall short like that is upsetting," he said.<\/p>\n

"But, back on the horse and go to my rehab and get back with the boys."<\/p>\n

The win put the Bulldogs back into the top eight, at the expense of the Knights. Undefeated at home, it was the Bulldogs' first on-the-road win of the season.<\/p>\n

"We put so much work and time to prepare, I feel like our best footy is in front of us," Addo-Carr said.<\/p>\n

"We just want to make our fans and family proud. That is what we are aiming to do every week, and also to make each other proud.<\/p>\n

"We love turning up every day to training and it's showing on the field how connected we are."<\/p>\n

Ferguson asked where he felt the Bulldogs could realistically end up on the ladder\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"Hopefully first place," he said with a laugh.<\/p>\n
