An on-track blue ended with an all-in brawl involving NASCAR<\/a> drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Kyle Busch, and their respective team members after the annual All Star Race.<\/p>\n

Busch took issue on lap two of the race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, seemingly annoyed by a pass Stenhouse Jr put on the two-time Cup Series champion.<\/p>\n

The Richard Childress Racing driver slid up into the outside wall before proceeding to hit the JTG Daugherty Racing pilot.<\/p>\n

That caused Stenhouse to lose control of his car and hit the outside wall nose-first, ending his race.<\/p>\n

Stenhouse proceeded to park his car in Busch's pit bay before climbing the timing stand to talk to the No.8 car's engineer.<\/p>\n

Post-race, an incensed Stenhouse confronted Busch before throwing a punch.<\/p>\n

What followed was an all-in brawl. Both drivers fell backwards as they were grabbed by members of both teams.<\/p>\n

Stenhouse's father chased after Busch and the pair scuffled as team members tried to separate them.<\/p>\n

Crew members continued to squabble as the drivers were kept apart.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the incident, Stenhouse said he thought it was a long time coming.<\/p>\n

"I felt like Kyle and I always have always raced \ufeffeach other really hard," said Stenhouse.<\/p>\n

"Never had any issues and then I wrecked him one time at Daytona and he's kind of bad-mouthed me ever since.<\/p>\n

"I feel like we get along with each other okay. Outside the race track, I talk to him quite a bit.<\/p>\n

"I'm not sure why he was so mad that I shoved it three wide. He hit the fence and came off the wall and ran into me. He kept saying that I wrecked him\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"Just definitely built up frustration with how he runs his mouth all the time about myself. I know he's frustrated because he doesn't run near as good as he used to."<\/p>\n

Commentators were left perplexed by Busch's retaliation after seeing onboard footage that appeared to show Stenhouse never made any contact with the RCR driver.<\/p>\n

"To be honest with you, from that angle\u2026 you can see Kyle didn't like it but he didn't run him high," said 10-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner Clint Bowyer.<\/p>\n

"That angle definitely painted a different picture for me."<\/p>\n

NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick weighed in, adding, "Stenhouse went for a hole right there and he didn't, in my opinion, do anything wrong right there.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"They had contact up off the corner but he was well past him on the middle lane."<\/p>\n

The fight overshadowed Joey Loganos's race win in which he led all but one lap in the $1 million prize race.<\/p>\n
