P\ufeffort Adelaide<\/a> veteran Ollie Wines<\/a> has suffered a heart scare in his side's insane one-point victory over Hawthorn<\/a> on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Wines was subbed off in the second term, after he self-reported \ufeffheart palpitations during the match.<\/p>\n

The midfielder sat out the remainder of the game at Adelaide Oval, but was seen running onto the field celebrating post match, after teammate Darcy Byrne-Jones kicked the winner<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt's not the first time Wines has experienced these heart issues.<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, he was subbed out of the Power's clash against Melbourne after experiencing similar discomfort.<\/p>\n

Wines was rushed to hospital at the time, where it was discovered that he has a heart irregularity, atrial fibrillation.<\/p>\n

He went on to miss the follow week's match, but returned and has had no issues until round 10's clash.<\/p>\n

\ufeffWines reported the issue at the end of the first term, with attempts from the club doctor to help settle them, but to no avail, according to Port's footy boss, Chris Davies.<\/p>\n

"He told the doctor, tried to settle it down but couldn't quite get it done so we subbed him out," Davies said on 7 at half time.<\/p>\n

"He's had some other situations at training … he's well aware of the issue and when it confronts him, it's about rest. He's got some medication for it.<\/p>\n

"He's settled down now and let's hope he's up and okay."<\/p>\n

Meantime, the Power managed to claw back from a 41-point deficit to come home with a one-point victory.<\/p>\n

It came as they held the Hawks goalless in the final term, managing to pile on four of their own.<\/p>\n

But it was the final goal that sealed the victory, thanks to Darcy Byrne-Jones' efforts to soccer it off the turf with just one second remaining in the final term.<\/p>\n
