Sky Blues<\/a> star Caitlan Johnston<\/a> has taken aim at online trolls\ufeff as she prepares for Thursday night's State of Origin<\/a> opener.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old prop was last week unveiled as a key NRLW<\/a> signing for the Cronulla Sharks from 2025.<\/p>\n

But the news was met with some vile comments on social media\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"I've never had to deal with something like that and I would never wish it upon anyone else," Johnston told NRL.com from Sky Blues camp on Monday.<\/p>\n

"I think it's quite disgusting that they can body shame a lot of females in the game.<\/p>\n

"I think it's a really pathetic thing to come across but I've had a lot of support in the background from the girls in and around the whole NRLW space.<\/p>\n

"We're just trying to start from something. We put ourselves out there and show what the female space is about and I think it's quite disgusting that it can come to that.<\/p>\n
