C\ufeffollingwood<\/a> goal sneak Jamie Elliott<\/a> will be sidelined for an extended period, after it was discovered he is suffering a vascular issue.<\/p>\n

What was originally thought to be back soreness that saw him ruled out of their round nine win over West Coast<\/a>, test results revealed a completely different issue for Elliott.<\/p>\n

The diagnosis means the 2023 premiership forward\ufeff will be out of Collingwood's side for at least another fortnight and potentially longer.<\/p>\n

The vascular issue was discovered as a separate concern and is treatable, according to 9News<\/em> Melbourne's Xander McGuire.<\/p>\n

"It will require specialist attention and a modified program over that period," he said.<\/p>\n

It comes as a pair of Elliott's teammates – Jeremy Howe and Harvey Harrison – will join him in the club's casualty ward.<\/p>\n

Howe\ufeff lasted one quarter before injuring his groin against the Eagles<\/a>, but says he's not too worried about the nature of the issue.<\/p>\n

"I\ufeff've had one of these before, a few years ago, feels pretty similar," Howe said.<\/p>\n

"From memory, it was only about a week (on the sidelines)\ufeff."<\/p>\n

Harrison will also struggle to get up for their match against Adelaide on Saturday at the MCG, after he sprained his ankle in the win.<\/p>\n

Despite the growing casualty list\ufeff, Howe is confident that the Pies can continue on their winning ways, having only won or drawn every game since their 0-3 start.<\/p>\n

"Probably a little bit different to last year, we were probably lucky in terms of \ufeffhaving a really healthy list<\/p>\n

"At the moment, we've got a few on the injury list.<\/p>\n
