Blues hopefuls Joseph Suaal\ufeffii, Luke Keary, Angus Crichton and Reece Robson have all been spared suspension by the NRL judiciary with just two rounds left before New South Wales coach Michael Maguire names his squad for Origin I.<\/p>\n

With\ufeff sudden injuries to stalwarts Nathan Cleary<\/a>, Tom Trbojevic<\/a>, and Cameron Murray<\/a>\ufeff, the next fortnight of footy could not be more important for those on the brink of selection.<\/p>\n

Keary \ufeffwas cited for dangerous contact with Shaun Johnson during the Roosters' 38-18 win over the Warriors on Sunday. He was offered a $1,800 fine with an early plea.<\/p>\n

The \ufefffive-eighth has been putting together a compelling case for a spot in the Blues halves with Cleary out of the series and uncertainty over the best candidate to wear the No.6.<\/p>\n

Keary has made just the one appearance for the Blues during the 2020 series but is in form worthy of a recall.<\/p>\n

Suaal\ufeffii was also placed on report for high contact on Wayde Egan with the centre offered a $1000 fine with an early plea.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old, who will leave the NRL for rugby union at the end of the season, is in the mix to make his Origin debut on the wing.<\/p>\n

Questions had been asked if Maguire should select a player that will not factor into the Blues' long-term plans, however, the new coach has adamantly declared he'll pick the best team for 2024 rather than worrying about player availability in the future.<\/p>\n

Crichton was pulled up for tripping Dallin Watene-Zelezniak<\/a> just metres out from the Roosters' tryline. He can accept a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea.<\/p>\n

The second-rower started the season in reserve grade but has been one of the Roosters' best players as they've turned an indifferent start to the season around and is a strong contender for a NSW role, either on an edge or off the bench. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, North Queensland hooker Reece Robson escaped a ban after he was charged with dangerous contact on Beau Fermor for an incident in his side's two-point loss. He was also offered a $1000 fine for a guilty plea.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Robson is one of several candidates to wear the \ufeffNo.9 jersey after making his debut for NSW last year.<\/p>\n
