Social media star Jake Paul<\/a> \ufeffhas revealed the inconvenient reason he will not follow Mike Tyson<\/a>'s ban on sex in the lead-up to their high-profile fight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the pair's \ufeffcontroversial fight on July 20, the Sun has reported that Tyson has been abstaining from sex and has stopped smoking weed to better prepare for his comeback.<\/p>\n

This practice follows \ufeffthe commonly cited boxing<\/a> wives' tale that forgoing intercourse aids performance by allowing testosterone to build up.<\/p>\n

To this, Paul said on his \ufeffpodcast BS w\/ Jake Paul<\/em>: "He's going to be like really angry and on edge. That's pretty scary.<\/p>\n

"He's going to be like a caged animal."<\/p>\n

Paul had used the same method \ufeffwhen training for previous fights before it backfired.<\/p>\n

"If I don't have sex for like \u2026 if I restrain myself for like two weeks, I start having wet dreams because my body's like, 'Get this out'," he said.<\/p>\n

"It's not weird, it just means that I'm normal."<\/p>\n

Paul, who is in a relationship with Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, revealed he will not have sex for four days before his next fight, which is "a good amount" for the 27-year-old.<\/p>\n

The YouTuber turned boxer infamously claimed a wet dream caused by avoiding sex inhibited his performance in his split decision loss to Tommy Fury \u2014 the only defeat of his professional boxing career.<\/p>\n

Days after the bout in \ufeffSaudi Arabia, Paul came out with the explanation.<\/p>\n

"I f—ed myself \u2014 literally \u2014 over," he said.<\/p>\n

"I don't actually even remember the dream. I literally woke up in a panic, like, 'f—, f—, f—, f—'. I was like, 'Oh my god'.<\/p>\n

"You have two weeks of testosterone built up. So the reason a wet dream happens is because your body needs to release that energy, it knows in your mind this is not good. I f—ed myself.<\/p>\n

"But yeah. it makes your legs weak. For the viewers \u2014 that's why it's bad \u2014 it makes your legs weak."<\/p>\n

Since losing to Fury, Paul has recorded wins over Nate Diaz, Andre August and Ryan Bourland.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, \ufeffTyson was last in the ring for a 2020 exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. That fight ended in a draw after an eight-round heavyweight bout.<\/p>\n
