Australian boxer George Kambosos<\/a> has threatened an American rival amid a wild social media spat on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe threat came after controversial fighter Ryan Garcia publicly claimed to have slept with Kambosos' wife.<\/p>\n

Garcia \ufefflast month stunned super lightweight champion Devin Haney, but then tested positive for banned substance Ostarine<\/a>, casting his victory under a cloud.<\/p>\n

The cocky American was watching on as Kambosos lost to Ukrainian great Vasiliy Lomachenko in Perth<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Following the fight, Garcia tweeted "\ufeffGeorge Kambozo sucks I'm sorry".<\/p>\n

Kambosos famously became the super lightweight world champion when he stunned Teofimo Lopez in the States in 2022, only to then lose twice to Haney and surrender the titles.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe Sydneysider responded to Garcia's first tweet with fire.<\/p>\n

"Won more belts than you'll ever win princess the clean way cheating dog I rather go out on my shield against the best and lose like a man than cheat with weight advantages and enhancements like you did," Kambosos wrote.<\/p>\n

"Let's have a street fight then f— the ring!! Use all the (drugs) you want."<\/p>\n

Garcia then posted a video taken at a resort supposedly in the Bahamas, where the American is holidaying after his Haney win.<\/p>\n

"We're in the Bahamas. Michael Jordan stayed here… I'm different\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"F— George Kambosos, Kambozo."<\/p>\n

\ufeffKambosos again responded with venom.<\/p>\n

"You should be in the Bahamas hiding away but you ain't getting away from them enhancement charges princess," he said.<\/p>\n

"You'll be banned from our beautiful sport that you made a mockery out of ya cheating dog. I couldn't give two f—s about you, now go stick another needle in your ass (sic)."<\/p>\n

Garcia took it a step further when he tweeted, "I slept with George Kambozo wife no cap".<\/p>\n

That claim was largely criticised, even by Garcia's supporters on X.<\/p>\n

Kambosos responded by claiming, "I slept with your mother" and called Garcia "classless" for "talking about my wife the mother of my kids".<\/p>\n

The Aussie \ufeffsaid "You're dead when I see you".<\/p>\n

In response, Garcia tweeted a screenshot of the Instagram account of Kambosos' wife Bec Pereira, with the caption "Nah I shouldn't".<\/p>\n

Kambosos posted another screenshot two hours later which supposedly showed Garcia messaging Pereira\ufeff, "You are gorgeous", and then "I don't lose my love".<\/p>\n

The response from Pereira's account was a photo of Kambosos sticking his middle finger up \ufeffand the caption, "f— you, cheating dog".<\/p>\n

Kambosos has been encouraged to consider retirement after Sunday's loss, but his exchange with Garcia may yet set the wheels in motion for a fight with the American.<\/p>\n

Garcia is yet to learn whether he will be stripped of his Haney defeat due to the drugs charges.\ufeff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
