A battered and bruised Collingwood<\/a>, who were reduced to just two on the bench, had no troubles mauling West Coast<\/a> by 66 points on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Pies jump into the top eight with their fifth win of the season, but it came at a cost, with a long list of injuries.<\/p>\n

It began when forward Jeremy Howe went down with a groin injury early in the match.<\/p>\n

Howe was subbed off and replaced by Jack Bytel, who unfortunately\ufeff then later was ruled out with a concussion.<\/p>\n

After that, it was young Pie Harvey Harrison who was ruled out with an ankle injury he sustained in the opening term.<\/p>\n

\ufeffCollingwood were still able to flex their muscles, as they booted seven goals in the second term to all but ice the game.<\/p>\n

The battle of the young stars, Eagle Harley Reid<\/a> and Pie Nick Daicos<\/a> was decided by half time, as the Collingwood premiership player already had 22 touches and a goal at the main break.<\/p>\n

Daicos was best on ground for the Pies, as he managed to collect an impressive 36 disposals across the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Reid on the other hand was reduced to 17 touches.\ufeff<\/p>\n

West Coast were \ufeffalso down on their bench, with veteran defender Jeremy McGovern sent to hospital to have scans after a heavy collison with Collingwood's Darcy Cameron.<\/p>\n

He will be monitored for internal injuries.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Jack Petruccelle was also removed from the game with an ankle injury for the Eagles.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Despite Reid's quieter-than-usual game\ufeff, Daicos heaped praise on the 19-year-old.<\/p>\n

"It's scary to think what he will be in a few years time.<\/p>\n
