The St George Illawarra Dragons<\/a> have clinched a 28-14 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs<\/a> in a see-sawing affair at Jubilee Stadium.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The teams traded blows early \ufeffbut a comedy of errors from Latrell Mitchell<\/a> put the Rabbitohs on the back foot.<\/p>\n

Dragons centre Zac Lomax<\/a> finished the match with\ufeff a 14-point haul after crossing over for a try and kicking three conversions, two penalty goals and a two-point field goal.<\/p>\n

With the result, the Rabbitohs became the first team in league history to concede 28 points in nine matches\ufeff.<\/p>\n

In \ufeffthe first half, \ufeffMitchell tried to usher a ball dead while under pressure from Kyle Flanagan.<\/p>\n

Mitchell tried to kick it out, missing twice, before he eventually grounded the ball for a dropout.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffWhat are you doing?," commentator Andrew Voss said on Mitchell's efforts on Fox League.<\/p>\n

"If they've saved it, it is the ugliest save in forcing the ball I've ever seen\ufeff."<\/p>\n

Later, in an unwanted moment of \ufeffd\u00e9j\u00e0 vu, Mitchell again failed to put the ball dead.<\/p>\n

After swinging and missing in an attempt to ground the ball, \ufeffJack De Belin swooped in to score.<\/p>\n

Voss says Mitchell was "not switched on".<\/p>\n

"Just force it … you don't need to bat the ball dead," he said.<\/p>\n

Lomax opened the scoring for the Dragons in the \ufeffninth minute when he got on the end of a grubber in behind from Ben Hunt.<\/p>\n

In response, Mitchell scored in his return\ufeff from his three-week suspension \u2014 pouncing on a grubber from milestone man Cody Walker.<\/p>\n

The Dragons were in again through\ufeff Jack Bird on the right edge.<\/p>\n

Walker thought he had scored with a minute left in the half before the Bunker deemed that the ball was knocked on by Jai Arrow in the lead-up.<\/p>\n

Lomax \ufeffslotted a handy two-point field goal on the verge of half-time to give the Dragons a 12-6 lead at the main break.<\/p>\n

In the second half, Lomax then added a penalty kick after Walker was penalised for an escort during a Dragons kick chase.<\/p>\n

Rabbitohs centre Izaac Tu'itupou Thompson scored in an impressive put-down \u2014 grounding the ball one-handed in the right corner while the rest of his body hovered out of bounds.<\/p>\n

Jaydn Su'A extended the Dragons' lead before Lomax added another penalty goal after the Rabbitohs were disciplined for talking back to Belinda Sharpe.<\/p>\n
