B\ufeffoth George Kambosos<\/a> and Vasily Lomachenko made weight for Sunday's clash in Perth and their second face-off in as many days yielded similar results.<\/p>\n

Lomachenko, 36, and Kambosos, 30, will enter the ring at a sold out RAC Arena, with the winner to take home the vacant IBF lightweight world title.<\/p>\n

The winner of this weekend's world title clash will have a mandatory challenger to face but a rematch with Teofimo Lopez could still be a viable option for the Aussie regardless of the result against the Ukrainian star.<\/p>\n

Lomachenko arrived a little late for the weigh-in on Saturday, but shrugged off questions about his tardiness, telling those in attendance he was in his hotel room.<\/p>\n

Kambosos took aim at the Ukrainian for delaying the process, telling the crowd he's "a professional\ufeff" unlike his opponent.<\/p>\n

During the official press conference on Thursday, the mind games were on full display when both men refused to move away from the stare-down, which lasted more than three minutes.<\/p>\n

After making weight, both men stood face-to-face once more, with Saturday's face-off lasting about three minutes.<\/p>\n

It could have gone way longer if not for trainers of both men stepping in and pulling them away.<\/p>\n

In comical scenes, Lomachenko refused to budge and maintained eye contact with Kambosos as he was being led away.<\/p>\n

"It's immature and unprofessional," said former world champion and Main Event commentator Shawn Porter.<\/p>\n

"They moved Lomachenko's body but he kept his head turned.\ufeff"<\/p>\n

Porter said Lomachenko's belated arrival to the weigh-in could mean many things.<\/p>\n

"Lomachenko has always made weight\ufeff, it's not his MO (to miss weight) maybe it was traffic, maybe it was some small delay. It could be a sign though.<\/p>\n

"Fighters grow old overnight. We're not who we used to be in an instant. Hopefully Kambosos recognises that and takes advantage of it."<\/p>\n

Kambosos made weight instantly on Saturday\ufeff, something that didn't come so easily in his first fight against Devin Haney in 2022.<\/p>\n

The Sydney fighter (134.2lbs) had no trouble making the 135-pound limit, coming in slightly lighter than Lomachenko(134.9lbs).<\/p>\n

Team Kambosos failed in their attempt for a change of referee , with the Australians wanting\ufeff Englishman Steve Gray to adjudicate the fight instead of Japanese referee Katsuhiko Nakamura.<\/p>\n

Nakamura oversaw Kambosos' second loss against Haney.<\/p>\n
