It's been described as one of the scariest knockouts in recent memory, with Jonathan Ariel Sosa floored by a brutal flurry of punches.<\/p>\n

US fighter Terrence Williams' double hook knocked Sosa out cold, with the latter taken for an overnight stay in hospital following the dangerous end to the fight.<\/p>\n

Most fans were crying foul over the mismatch,\ufeff with Williams, a rising star of the sport, having a 6-0 record with five KOs.<\/p>\n

Sosa on the other hand, \ufeffhad not won a fight since 2017, and had been knocked out six times in building a record of 7-17 along with two draws.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Wide World of Sports has opted to not show the vision of Sosa lying sprawled across the canvas without any control of his body, in the aftermath of the knockout.\ufeff<\/p>\n

There were frightening scenes at the event in Florida, with medical staff forced to give Sosa oxygen.<\/p>\n

He was helped to his feet but was taken to hospital to be observed overnight.<\/p>\n

Commentators were stunned by the power of the Williams punch.<\/p>\n

"Whoa, what a left hook," they screamed as Sosa went down.<\/p>\n

"That is it in round number one … bad knockout, yikes."<\/p>\n

Williams has only been a professional for 14 months so it's understandable why his team would set up such a low risk bout.<\/p>\n
