D\ufeffavid Fifita<\/a> will head to Bondi next year.<\/p>\n

According to a report from 9News reporter Danny Weidler and The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a>, the superstar back-rower has agreed to terms with the Sydney Roosters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fifita will earn $3.3 million with the Tricolours across the four-year contract, after opting to say goodbye to the Titans<\/a> at the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old\ufeff informed Gold Coast of his decision to leave the club on Thursday, just hours before the deadline regarding his player option.<\/p>\n

One of the game's most destructive forwards, Fifita will join a star-studded cast at the Chooks next year and his deal will see him remain at the club until the end of 2028.<\/p>\n

Fifita has scored 47 tries in 112 first grade appearances with the Broncos and Titans, as well as representing Queensland on eight occasions at State of Origin level. \ufeff<\/p>\n

At this stage, the Roosters have not confirmed Fifita's signature. \ufeff<\/p>\n

His arrival will cast immediate doubt over the future of Angus Crichton<\/a>, who has returned to form this season but remains unsigned for next season with the Tricolours.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old has been linked with a potential move to the Panthers<\/a>, who were in for Fifita's signature but ultimately were unable to lure the Tongan international to the club and will now turn their attention elsewhere.<\/p>\n
