In a desperate bid to promote his Netflix fight with Mike Tyson<\/a>\ufeff, Jake Paul<\/a> says either he or the former heavyweight champion "has to die" in their upcoming showdown.<\/p>\n

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will take on the former undisputed heavyweight champion in Texas on July 21.<\/p>\n

Boxing fans remain concerned about the 31-year age difference\ufeff between the pair, and Paul did nothing to allay those fears in a recent interview with USA Today.<\/p>\n

When asked if he will pull any punches against the 58-year-old, Paul said\ufeff: "It's war. All is fair in love and war.<\/p>\n

"I love the guy, but as soon as it turned into a pro fight, one of us has to die.<\/p>\n

"He's taking this very, very seriously and that's what's going to make the fight amazing for all the fans."<\/p>\n

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation ruled the fight will be a professional bout, and Paul confirmed that request was pushed forward by Tyson<\/p>\n

"He was the one who wanted it to be a pro-fight," he said.<\/p>\n

"We were figuring out the rules and Mike said, 'I want it to be a pro fight.<\/p>\n

"'I want to end this kid and stop everything he's doing.'<\/p>\n

"So I agreed to make it a pro fight and it's as real as it gets."<\/p>\n

He added: "I just want to make it clear that Mike Tyson is the one who wanted it to be a professional fight.<\/p>\n

"I said to Nakisa [Bidarian] if that is what Mike wants that is fine, but make sure you tell Mike there is no holding back.<\/p>\n

"Whatever happens now happens and this is war now.<\/p>\n
