T\ufeffhe Dragons<\/a>' comical error on Jack Bird<\/a>'s milestone jersey has taken a hilarious turn with an independent merchandise store getting in on the fun.<\/p>\n

The Red V was left red-faced on Sunday when the Dragons misprinted the spelling of their team name on Jack Bird's commemorative jersey marking his 150th NRL match.<\/p>\n

Enter: The 'Dargons'.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The club subsequently confirmed \ufeffthe embroidery error which saw 'Dargons' instead of Dragons printed on the front of Bird's jersey alongside other match details.<\/p>\n

It is understood that no one at the club checked the spelling on the printed milestone jerseys before they were delivered to the club ahead of the match.<\/p>\n

In the days since, League Tees \u2014 who are known for their retro footy designs and merchandise \u2014 have released an 'Up the Dargons' shirt for purchase.<\/p>\n

The tees are available in \ufefftwo colours \u2014 red and white \u2014 and can be snapped up for $34 in a range of sizes from their website.<\/p>\n

The \ufeff"up the" prefix is a nod to the exhortation which became affiliated with the Warriors during the 2023 NRL season.<\/p>\n

The Dragons' blunder was first noticed by eagle-eyed fans when \ufeffBird spoke with Nine's Emma Lawrence post-match on Sunday.<\/p>\n

While the Dragons were not able to get the win in Bird's milestone match, suffering a \ufeff20-10 loss to the Sharks<\/a>, the centre was thankful after a tumultuous road to his 150th game.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIt's been a tough journey and it's taken some time to get here," he told Nine.<\/p>\n

"I've played first grade for 10-odd years\ufeff and have only just got to 150 [now].<\/p>\n

"To think about it, it's been tough \ufeffbut I'm happy that I finally got here and there is nothing better than playing at Shark Park where it all started.<\/p>\n
