A\ufefflex Seyfarth could be in big trouble with the match review committee after he was sin binned for a headbutt against the Bulldogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Tigers<\/a> forward was the second to leave the field in a matter of moments after David Klemmer<\/a> was given his marching orders for dissent late in the second half.<\/p>\n

Bulldogs enforcer Viliame Kikau<\/a> took exception to Seyfarth's big shot on winger Jacob Kiraz with the two coming together.<\/p>\n

"They were absolutely livid the Dogs players with the work from Seyfarth on Kiraz," Mick Ennis said on Fox League.<\/p>\n

"(Josh) Curran came flying off the bench to the sideline and was barking \ufeffat Seyfarth and then Kikau took matters into his own hands."<\/p>\n

Reed Mahoney<\/a> was then third man in to the confrontation, \ufeffwith Seyfarth headbutting him.<\/p>\n

Referee Kasey Badger put him on report and sent him to the sin bin.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs fans then \ufeffbooed the Tigers forward off the field as Canterbury won the match 22-14<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tigers coach Benji Marshall was disappointed with Klemmer and Seyfarth's actions post-match. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It's simple, \ufeffyou've got to have disciple," he said.<\/p>\n

"We're eight points down, there's still a chance in the game and to lose two players and play with 11 in the last seven or eight minutes, that's not us."<\/p>\n

Captain John Bateman was equally as disappointed, with the game there to be won.<\/p>\n

"We were chasing the game in the end, obviously we can't do \ufeffit with 11-men," he said.<\/p>\n

"We cost ourselves a little bit, we need to probably be more disciplined. A couple of calls didn't go away but we've just got to back up and go with it."<\/p>\n

Marshall agreed he expected better from senior players but indicated a frustration within his side over the referee's decisions.<\/p>\n

"Emotion in the game, we just expect better \ufefffrom some of our players and again I think the build up (had an impact), we had a lot of calls go against us that frustrated us a bit and I think that build up probably took its toll in the end," he said.<\/p>\n

"We had three captain's challenges that we ended up winning and at the end there we still had our challenge and got told we didn't have our challenge so I think the frustration built up.<\/p>\n

"But again it's first grade rugby league and whether you're young or old you've still got to be disciplined and those two things to get sin binned were both silly."\ufeff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
