B\ufeffoxing<\/a> champion Ryan Garcia has reportedly tested positive to a banned substance after his shock victory over Devin Haney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boxing reporter Dan Rafael reports Garcia's urine samples – taken the day before and the day of the fight – came back positive for Ostarine.<\/p>\n

Ostarine is banned worldwide and is not approved for human consumption, but is found in some performance-enhancing supplements.<\/p>\n

In response to the bombshell, controversial fighter Garcia tweeted "my bad I shouldn't have took this", along with a picture of a herbal supplement.<\/p>\n

In separate tweets Garcia then claimed the report was "fake f—ing news" and denied cheating.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old American weighed in overweight before the fight, meaning Haney's WBC super-lightweight belt was taken off the table.<\/p>\n

Garcia proceeded to knock Haney down three times on his way to a unanimous decision victory, but that win could now be scratched from his record.<\/p>\n

He had acted erratically leading up to the bout, chugging beers and mouthing off on social media.<\/p>\n

\ufeffGarcia later claimed his behaviour was all part of a premeditated plan<\/a> to shake Haney.<\/p>\n

"We had it pre-recorded months ago," Garcia told the PBD podcast last week.<\/p>\n

\"Ryan<\/p>\n

"I said 'I'm about to make sure everybody thinks I'm going crazy'.<\/p>\n

"I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that, watch it's going to be called 'The Great Escape'.<\/p>\n

"I have it all documented. I was already planning weeks and weeks and weeks behind.<\/p>\n

"I don't know what made me come up with the idea."<\/p>\n
