Port Adelaide<\/a> will give Connor Rozee<\/a> every chance to play his first Showdown as captain on Thursday night, if he is able to rebound from injury in time.<\/p>\n

He entered concussion protocols following a dangerous tackle that led to his second head knock in as many years.<\/p>\n

St Kilda's Jack Higgins is challenging his three-game ban stemming from the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"All I remember is I went for the mark, dropped the mark .. and just followed up and I knew I was getting tackled," Higgins said.<\/p>\n

"The rule is if I am taking a tackle I am holding the ball so I was just trying to get rid of the ball and that happened."<\/p>\n

Carr said it was a "tough period" for Powell-Pepper.<\/p>\n
