With Moses Suli concussed on the weekend off \ufeffJared Waerea-Hargreaves' hit-up<\/a> from the kick off on Anzac Day, the discussion has returned as to whether the long kick off should be banned.<\/p>\n

However, Gould believes changing one of the iconic parts of a match could continue to ruin the fabric of the game.<\/p>\n

"There's no alternative, leave the game alone," he said on Nine's 100% Footy<\/em>. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"We are tearing it apart. It is really frustrating watching our game be torn apart by everybody bar the coaches and the players, it just drives me mad. Doctors, lawyers and fans on social media, that's all they listen to. They don't listen to players."<\/p>\n

Gould's frustration comes after changes were made to the drop out, with no penalty if a short kick goes wrong which the Bulldogs general manager described as "ridiculous".<\/p>\n

"Our game is so stupid," he said.<\/p>\n

"You can lose the ball over the line \ufeffscoring a try and you get penalised 20 metres and seven tackles … why? I don't know, because it's stupid.<\/p>\n

"But I can just take a line drop out and if it goes out on the full or doesn't go 10 metres, no consequence, nothing at all. What sort of stupid game is this? Who sits and makes up these rules?"<\/p>\n

However, that decision wasn't the one that fired Gould up the most.<\/p>\n

During the Tigers' clash with the Broncos, Apisai Koroisau had a try denied by the Bunker after the slightest separation between the ball and his hands before he seemed to regather and get it down.<\/p>\n
