Ivan Cleary<\/a> says the Panthers<\/a> are still piecing the puzzle together ahead of their upcoming clash in Townsville with the Cowboys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\ufeffPenrith will enter the field on Saturday night coming off the back of a 22-6 win over the Tigers last week, with injured halfback Nathan Cleary<\/a> set to make his return.<\/p>\n

The three-time reigning champions experienced little changes to their line-up in the off-season but coach Cleary claims the side is still working to return to top form.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the Panthers pre-game press conference on Friday, Cleary discussed his feelings ahead of the upcoming clash and revealed that his team is anticipating a fierce battle against a "dangerous" North Queensland outfit.<\/p>\n

\"Panthers<\/p>\n

"\ufeffWe are looking to build on our performance from last week," the coach said.<\/p>\n

"We are just trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. I think every team is still going through the same thing at this time of year and we're no different.<\/p>\n

"[The Cowboys] look like a team that's just trying to piece it all together as well. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Obviously, we've scored plenty of points \ufeffand had some high-scoring games but they are a very dangerous and very capable team. We know we've got our hands full.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"They have some tremendous players in the side \ufeffand they are back at home after a few weeks, no doubt we will lift the energy there too."<\/p>\n

Penrith's star playmaker Cleary has spent the last six weeks on the sideline with a hamstring injury and will reclaim the reigns in the halves from his interim replacement Brad Schneider.<\/p>\n

Although Cleary's much-anticipated return to the team was noted, \ufeffthe Penrith coach commended Schneider's efforts working alongside Luai in the halves and contributing to the team's ongoing success.<\/p>\n

Coach Cleary also revealed the 23-year-old will be given additional opportunities with the team moving forward in the season.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Even though [Nathan] is our \ufeffmain playmaker, it's going to take a bit of time," the three-time premiership-winning coach said.<\/p>\n

\"Nathan<\/p>\n

"[Nathan] plays different to Brad Schneider – he's done a really good job. It's a difficult position to come into and all in all, I think he's done a really good job.<\/p>\n

"Brad is a talented player. He's very consistent and does most of the things in the game well. He kicks well, runs the ball, and tackles well. I just thought he fit into our system really well.<\/p>\n

"He came to the club knowing what the role was and \ufeffhe took his opportunity. He will get more opportunities as well.<\/p>\n
