T\ufeffhe Wests Tigers<\/a> have secured experienced administrator Shane Richardson as club CEO long-term.<\/p>\n

Richardson has been doing the job on an interim basis since December, following the board axing Justin Pascoe from the position.<\/p>\n

Pascoe was ousted after years of outcry from passionate fans and members, given the sustained period of mediocrity he oversaw.<\/p>\n

Richardson was previously the boss at South Sydney, Penrith, and Cronulla and has a history of success.<\/p>\n

He will begin a four-year contract as Tigers CEO in July.<\/p>\n

One of Richardson's first acts as interim CEO was to sack recruitment chief Scott Fulton, who had clashed with new head coach and club legend Marshall.<\/p>\n

Fulton was brought to the Tigers last year by Pascoe and former chairman Lee Hagipantelis\ufeff without the knowledge of Marshall or then-coach Tim Sheens.<\/p>\n

Hagipantelis\ufeff also exited the club when Pascoe did, being replaced in an interim capacity by Barry O'Farrell.<\/p>\n

"Shane has done a tremendous job since taking over as interim CEO, impressing supporters, staff and sponsors," O'Farrell said of Richardson on Friday.<\/p>\n
