C\ufeffollingwood<\/a> veteran Scott Pendlebury<\/a> has officially made AFL history, after notching up his 10,000th career disposal during the Anzac Day match against Essendon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was a humble handball, but a moment that meant a lot more than the action.<\/p>\n

Pendlebury is the only player since statistics have been recorded to reach this milestone, which was met with a standing ovation from adoring Pies fans around the MCG.<\/p>\n

His handball in the first quarter saw him walk around three Essendon players and shoot the ball off to teammate Darcy Cameron\ufeff.<\/p>\n

The game continued around him, so Pendlebury didn't break to take in the moment.<\/p>\n

It's another impressive record to add to the 26-year-old's\ufeff tally.<\/p>\n

The dual premiership Magpie\ufeff has played 390 games, collected the 2010 grand final replay Norm Smith medal and is a three-time Anzac Day medallist.<\/p>\n

He is also a six-time All-Australian.<\/p>\n

Pendlebury has an elite career average of 25.7 disposals\ufeff a game and on average is involved in 6.5 scores each week.<\/p>\n

Meantime, Magpies teammate Jamie Elliott could have taken the mark of the year over Bombers defender Ben McKay\ufeff.<\/p>\n
