The Roosters<\/a> have \ufeffthrashed the Dragons<\/a> 60-18 in front of more than 40,000 fans in their annual Anzac Day match \ufeffat Allianz Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Dragons struck first in the fifth minute before the Roosters \ufeffpiled on five unanswered tries to gain an unattainable lead.<\/p>\n

Doubles to \ufeffJoseph Manu and Nat Butcher, and 24 points to Sam Walker<\/a> saw the Roosters run rings around the Dragons.<\/p>\n

Walker was \ufeffnamed the Ashton-Collier medallist for the best player afield off the back of his kicking game. This marked his second time receiving the honour.<\/p>\n

The halfback finished the game with 10-from-10 conversions and several try assists from his boot.<\/p>\n

The match started dramatically with \ufeffDragons centre Moses Suli being concussed in the opening play of the match after he made heavy contact with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves off the kick-off.<\/p>\n

His head injury was classified as a category one, ruling him out for the rest of the match.<\/p>\n

Jaydn Su'a opened the scoring for the Dragons \u2014 flying at the tryline before rolling over in one swift movement.<\/p>\n

However, the Roosters soon got going, hitting back through Dom Young\ufeff who capitalised on a penalty for an escort moments earlier.<\/p>\n

Kyle Flanagan attempted to tackle Young but was shrugged off as the winger reached out \u2014 scoring a stunning one-handed try.<\/p>\n

Angus Crichton then made it \ufeffback-to-back tries for the Roosters after Zac Lomax made a costly error ten metres from the Dragons' tryline.<\/p>\n

After taking a hit up, Lomax offloaded to an unsuspecting Ben Hunt who fumbled the ball. Dragons centre Michael Jenning then pounced on the loose ball before setting up Crichton.<\/p>\n

Sam Walker starred in the opening half, \ufeffnailing a chip-and-chase to set up Manu before being awarded a penalty try of his.<\/p>\n

Walker was \ufefftaken out of the play by Fa'amanu Brown as he raced downfield to score.<\/p>\n

Brown reached out for Walker's ankle causing a knock but the Bunker sided in favour of Walker, awarding a penalty try.<\/p>\n

Nat Butcher snared the last of the first half as the Roosters took a 30-6 lead into the main break.<\/p>\n

In the 50th minute, Jack de Belin broke the Roosters' streak after sidestepping several Roosters' defenders to go over next to the post.<\/p>\n

However, the score did little to startle the Tricolours as \ufeffLuke Keary quickly dummied before darting through a gap to score.<\/p>\n

Manu grabbed his second with a front flip in the left corner \ufeffbefore Tedesco added his name to the try-scorers list as the Roosters added three tries in just seven minutes.<\/p>\n

Tom Eisenhuth jumped on the scraps of a dropped high ball from Manu, but it made little difference as the Tricolours surpassed a half-century on the scoreboard with Butcher marching over for his second of the evening.<\/p>\n

Finally, Joseph Suaalii scored to cap the Roosters at 10 tries and complete the club's biggest-ever win over the Red V.<\/p>\n
