A refreshingly honest Josh Rachele<\/a> insists he doesn't have a flaw in his game despite admitting he wasn't "brave enough" in a crucial marking contest against Essendon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The young Crow's toughness was questioned following the three-point loss, after he dropped a pair of key marks in the dying stages of the final term.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to 9News Adelaide, the 21-year-old relived those challenging moments during the crucial period of the match. <\/p>\n

"It's a tough one, they've definitely repeated over and over in my head this weekend", Rachele said.<\/p>\n

"The first one was just more about, I thought someone was coming right over the top of me, and completely honestly, I wasn't brave enough in the situation.<\/p>\n

"I'm going to have to take that, move on and learn from it.<\/p>\n

"The other one was just a complete misjudge, the ball just sailed over and I thought it was coming a bit closer.<\/p>\n

"It's a bit disappointing that's what everyone remembers from the game, because 20 seconds earlier, if I kick that snap, everyone's forgotten about those couple of little errors."<\/p>\n

It comes after Nine's Kane Cornes and Matthew Lloyd comments on The Sunday Footy Show…where the AFL greats raised their concerns over the mistakes.<\/p>\n

"I hadn't seen that in him and its gonna take some resilience for him to get over", Cornes said<\/p>\n

While Lloyd called on the club itself to better support Rachele.<\/p>\n

"I wonder how he's gonna get over it, how are they are going to support him through it", Lloyd said.<\/p>\n

"How they talk him through having the courage to stand under footballs which you just have to if you want to have a 250-game career."<\/p>\n

But the rising star insists the errors don't represent the way he plays.<\/p>\n

"Literally a minute or two later, I went back with a mark and got cleaned up", Rachele said.<\/p>\n

"I think it was just that external pressure, those thoughts going through your mind at that time.<\/p>\n

"I know it's not a flaw in my game, it's just something that I didn't execute.<\/p>\n

"It's just about practicing those moments, definitely going to do a few of them this week, a few little marks in the air."<\/p>\n

He was far from the only Crow to slip up at crucial times, in a defeat that saw Matthew Nicks's side drop to 1-5 from their opening six games. <\/p>\n

Adelaide declared in the pre-season that finals were a must, but that now looks like a pipe dream as their campaign hangs in the balance. <\/p>\n
