Kurtley Beale's<\/a> voice crackled with emotion \ufeffafter being presented with his first Western Force cap on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The 37-15 upset in Perth<\/a> was the Force's first win over the Crusaders in 11 years and lifted the club off the bottom of the Super Rugby Pacific ladder.<\/p>\n

It was also Beale's first Super Rugby game in four years<\/a> following his stint in France for Racing 92 and lengthy legal proceedings.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old was in February found not guilty of raping a woman in Bondi's Beach Road Hotel bathrooms in 2022.<\/a>\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Wow, this is pretty emotional for me," Beale said after Force coach Simon Cron handed him his cap and gave him a hug in the HBF Park changing rooms.<\/p>\n

"I've been out of the game for a year and a bit. I've been waiting for this opportunity for a long, long time and I'm just so glad that it's with a great club like the Force and with a great bunch of men like you blokes.<\/p>\n

"It's just awesome to be a part of the group and thank you to the club for welcoming my family. We absolutely love it here and we're looking forward to adding to the club and to the group and hopefully make a special season.<\/p>\n

"So thank you."<\/p>\n

Beale, who has played 95 Tests for the Wallabies, made his comeback for Randwick before signing with the Force this month.<\/p>\n

Cron threw him straight into the starting lineup at fullback and Beale responded with a composed performance and no signs of rust.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Force captain Nic White said Beale deserved credit for Ben Donaldson's excellent game at five-eighth.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'm going to give a lot of credit to that to KB," White told Stan Sport.<\/p>\n
