The Canberra Raiders<\/a>' crushing 34-10 loss to the Brisbane Broncos<\/a> at Suncorp Stadium was soured further by a potential season-ending injury to Jamal Fogarty.<\/p>\n

A classy first-half double \ufeffto Reece Walsh<\/a> headlined five unanswered tries in 19 minutes for the Broncos.<\/p>\n

Adding to the Raiders' woes,\ufeff halfback Fogarty was ruled out during the main break with a suspected bicep muscle rupture. He was replaced in the halves by Simi Sasagi.<\/p>\n

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart revealed post-match the best case scenario is a 12-week stint on the sidelines for Fogarty. \ufeff<\/p>\n

But the second time, the Raiders were not so lucky as \ufeffEzra Mam pounced and scored under the posts.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe Broncos did not let up as Billy Walters jumped on his own grubber before Walsh dummied to add his second.<\/p>\n

A five-try blitz\ufeff from the Broncos landed the Raiders in a 28-0 hole at half time.<\/p>\n

"What a nightmare for the Raiders," Fox League commentator Andrew Voss said.<\/p>\n

After \ufeff51 minutes, Sasagi broke through to get the Raiders on the board \u2014 and claimed his first career try in the process.<\/p>\n

He sliced through unchallenged after an embarrassing missed tackle from Jaiyden Hunt.<\/p>\n

But the Broncos hit back\ufeff through tries to Cobbo for their only try of the second half.<\/p>\n

Making the most of his opportunity, Sasagi \ufeffput up a pin-point cross-kick to Sebastian Kris who took flight to push the ball back to Xavier Savage \u2014 who scooped it up to score the Raiders' second.<\/p>\n
