The Dragons<\/a> have pulled off an unlikely 30-12 victory over \ufeffthe Warriors<\/a> at WIN Stadium in Wollongong.<\/p>\n

The visitors dominated the opening 15 minutes of the match, but the Red V limited the damage showing plenty of defensive resolve before making the game their own.<\/p>\n

In his 100th first-grade game, Zac Lomax<\/a> continued his stunning run of form despite the frenzy around his signing with Parramatta earlier this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Warriors looked threatening close to the Dragons' line early as \ufeffShaun Johnson strolled over untouched to open the scoring.<\/p>\n

Off the back of a bombed try from the Dragons owing to a forward pass, Mosese Suli broke through for the home side \u2014 set up by a pin-point ball from Ben Hunt.<\/p>\n

With the conversion set up on a difficult angle, Lomax was unable to nail the kick to level the scores.\ufeff<\/p>\n

However, the Dragons soon responded with back-to-back tries as \ufeffMikaele Ravalawa barged over the line from close range to flip the script.<\/p>\n

Hunt then extended the Red V's lead \u2014 stretching out to score St George Illawarra's third consecutive try.<\/p>\n

On the verge of half time, Lomax booted a monster two-point field goal\ufeff from outside the 40m mark.<\/p>\n

Despite being under immense pressure to start the match, the Dragons showed plenty of defensive resolve to lead 16-6 at the main break.<\/p>\n

In a thrilling start to the second half, Lomax motored downfield to nab a kick bomb from Hunt and score.<\/p>\n

"Zac Lomax and the Dragons are putting on a clinic," Cooper Cronk said in commentary for Fox League.<\/p>\n

Things went from bad to worse for the Warriors when \ufeffRoger Tuivasa-Sheck was penalised as the team's drop out failed to travel the required 10m distance \u2014 allowing Lomax to add another two points.<\/p>\n

The Warriors had several chances to wrestle back the momentum in their favour after benefiting from penalties including a rare offside downtown call. However, could not take advantage of the opportunities.<\/p>\n

The Dragons added their \ufefffifth unanswered try as Tyrell Sloan disappeared downfield following a fumbled carry from Johnson.<\/p>\n

With the length-of-the-field try, \ufeffSloan shoots to the top of the league's leading try-scoring tally with seven so far this season.<\/p>\n
