Doctors have found a defect in the heart of Leon Te Hau \u2013 the boom South Sydney youngster who collapsed at training this week.<\/p>\n

The former Queensland under 18 representative was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after he felt physically ill and fainted during a training session at Souths' Heffron Park headquarters.<\/p>\n

He remains in hospital as doctors continue to administer tests – but the early diagnosis isn't as bad as it sounds.<\/p>\n

"There is a relatively minor defect with his heart where it is beating too slowly and not pumping enough blood through his body when he pushes himself at training and during games," Te Hau's manager Gavin Orr told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n

"A few players have had it in the past and it can be fixed hopefully by just taking some medication.<\/p>\n

"The doctors say he will be released from hospital on Saturday and we are hoping he is back training and playing again in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
