P\ufeffanthers<\/a> star Taylan May<\/a> has found himself in hot water over a bizarre social media post, with the NRL<\/a> reportedly "looking into" the situation.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old recently posted \ufeffan Instagram story in the passenger's seat of a car travelling 96km per hour in a residential area.<\/p>\n

While he was not driving, May's actions have earned plenty of back\ufefflash and according to Nine reporter Michael Chammas, the Penrith centre is now under investigation.<\/p>\n

"The NRL are looking at it," he revealed on Nine's 100% Footy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"I don't think he will be dropped or suspended or anything like that."<\/p>\n

May has started the season in strong form for the reigning premiers after recovering from an ACL injury, cementing himself in a star-studded backline and earning a fresh contract that will keep him at the foot of the mountains until the end of 2026.<\/p>\n

Two years \ufeffago, May was charged by Queensland Police over an assault at a pub in late-2021, which ultimately saw the Panthers star suspended for two matches by the NRL.<\/p>\n
