C\ufeffollingwood<\/a> midfielder Nick Daicos<\/a> says veteran Scott Pendlebury<\/a> will need to jump through a few hurdles if he wants to face Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Pendlebury suffered fractured ribs after copping a knee to the back in a marking contest from Hawk Josh Weddle<\/a>\ufeff\ufeff in their round four clash.<\/p>\n

The Pies then had a bye in round five, meaning Pendlebury has had an extra few days to recover properly.<\/p>\n

Now, the premiership veteran could line up against the Power after just a week off.<\/p>\n

"He's probably got a few boxes to tick\ufeff with training and what not," Daicos said on Monday.<\/p>\n

\"Scott<\/p>\n

"But he'll give himself every chance, he's the ultimate professional."<\/p>\n

As for the rest of the Pies, Daicos says they're already regretting their 0-3 start to the year, knowing it has potentially dented their top four chances.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We probably didn't start the way we wanted to in terms of wins and losses but I think the foundation of our game was there," he said.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We've kept building on that and we've been rewarded in the last couple of weeks with wins.<\/p>\n

\"Daicos<\/p>\n

The 2023 premiership star heaped praise onto the Power, who were bundled out of last year's finals series in straight sets.<\/p>\n

"Port Adelaide have been going really strong so we'll come in and prepare really well," he said.<\/p>\n

"We know they're going to be tough to beat but hopefully it's a great game."\ufeff<\/p>\n
