M\ufeffax Holloway<\/a> hasn't given up on a fourth fight against Alexander Volkanovski<\/a>, calling out the former champion following a huge victory at UFC 300.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIn one of the most insane moments in UFC history, Holloway dropped Justin Gaethje with just one second left in the final round<\/a>, becoming the new BMF champion.<\/p>\n

In a chaotic five-round bout, Holloway dominated Gaethje with a plethora of lethal strikes, before landing the final death knell and sending the crowd into raptures.<\/p>\n

After the fight, Holloway called out featherweight champ Ilia Topuria, who recently ended Volkanovski's reign in the 145lb division to claim the gold<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, when quizzed on a potential showdown in the future with the Australian superstar, Holloway jumped at the idea of erasing the biggest blip on his UFC record.<\/p>\n

"One-hundred per cent," he said.<\/p>\n

"If I ever get that title back and Volk is still around, I want to fight him one more time.<\/p>\n

"I'm going to keep knocking on that door until I get my one."<\/p>\n

Volkanovski defeated Holloway to become the featherweight champion back in 2019, before successfully defending the strap against the popular Hawaiian star on a further two occasions in 2020 and 2022. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The logjam at the top\ufeff of the weight class will likely see Volkanovski spend some time away from the octagon, with Topuria intimating he would take on Holloway in his first defence of the UFC title, placing the Aussie's hopes of a rematch on the backburner.<\/p>\n

"It's clear for me Max will be next," the Spaniard said.<\/p>\n

"Enjoy the night, but after fighting me, he will have to go to the back of the line."<\/p>\n

Holloway is never one to back down from a challenge and when he was informed of Topuria's comments, he gave a trademark response. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"That's cool," he shrugged.<\/p>\n

"What do you want me to say? What if he goes to the back of line? Ilia can talk but we got a lot of questions … if that fight gets booked, we're going to get answers."<\/p>\n
