The Raiders<\/a> have denied a \ufeffgusty Titans<\/a> outfit, clinching a golden-point thriller 21-20 at GIO Stadium on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

A second-half double to Alofiana Khan-Pereira brought the Titans back from the brink before Brian Kelly\ufeff, with just his second kick for goal in his NRL<\/a> career, forced golden point after levelling the score 20-all.<\/p>\n

\ufeffWith just 10 seconds left on the clock, Jamal Fogarty scored the one-point field goal to secure the win.<\/p>\n

Veteran five-eighth Kieran Foran had a chance to steal victory for the Titans but was charged down by young fullback and debutant \ufeffChevy Stewart.<\/p>\n

After 17 minutes without a score, \ufeffthe Raiders broke through to open the scoring as James Schiller beat several Titans defenders in the air to come down with the ball.<\/p>\n

Canberra then went back-to-back as Hudson Young\ufeff muscled his way over the tryline after being sent over by Ethan Strange.<\/p>\n

With less than two minutes left to play in the first half, a pin-point pass\ufeff from Foran put Jaimin Jolliffe over for the Titans' first of the match.<\/p>\n

The Titans showed plenty of defensive resolve, trailing 12-6 at the main break despite having just 40 per cent\ufeff of possession \ufeff\ufeffin the first half.<\/p>\n

Gold Coast picked up where they left off in the second half as \ufeffHarley Smith-Shields seized the put down – capitalising on an error from Xavier Savage.<\/p>\n

In a huge injury blow to Canberra, second-rower Zac Hosking left the field with his arm in a makeshift jumper sling after suffering a dislocated shoulder.<\/p>\n

Raiders halfback Fogarty made it a four-point game with a penalty goal after Kelly was penalised for putting pressure on the kicker.<\/p>\n

The Titans had a stunning \ufeffone-handed try by \ufeffAlofiana Khan-Pereira rubbed out after the Bunker deemed there was an obstruction in the lead-up.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse\ufeff for the visitors, fullback Jayden Campbell limped off in the 63rd minute after he pulled up lame while attempting to bat the ball over the dead ball line.<\/p>\n

The club confirmed that \ufeffCampbell would go for scans on his troublesome knee on Monday.<\/p>\n

Schiller chalked up a double after scoring in the corner but Gold Coast refused to lie down.<\/p>\n

Alofiana Khan-Pereira got his try when his side needed it most, reducing the margin to a converted try with four minutes left to play.<\/p>\n

He then backed up his earlier effort, pouncing on a grubber from Kelly to set up a grandstand finish.<\/p>\n
