C\ufeffonor McGregor<\/a> is officially back in the UFC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former two-division champion will take on Michael Chandler<\/a> in the main event of \ufeffUFC 303 on June 30 (AEST), as confirmed by Dana White<\/a>.<\/p>\n

McGregor hasn't fought in almost three years and will take on the American star in a welterweight bout at the huge event in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old lost two straight fights to Dustin Poirier in 2021, with the second ending in devastating fashion as McGregor suffered a nasty broken leg.<\/p>\n

McGregor and Chandler have been \ufefflinked for a showdown for the past couple of years, with the pair squaring off as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter to set up their bout.<\/p>\n

Last month, McGregor revealed he still had two fights remaining on his contract with the UFC and hopes to become active once again.<\/p>\n

"I'm looking forward to getting back and regressing, resetting and recalibrating and remapping my return to the octagon," McGregor said at a press conference.<\/p>\n

"I'm eager for that. We're in the first quarter of 2024. There's still a good chunk of the year left. I've got two fights left on my contract. Negotiations are ongoing.<\/p>\n

"When the promotional work of the movie comes to an end when the St. Patrick's day festivities come to an end, it's isolation and it's focus, and move toward a return."\ufeff<\/p>\n
