Tiger Woods<\/a> has broken the record for most \ufeffconsecutive cuts made at Augusta<\/a> after battling wind and obvious pain on day two of The Masters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 15-times major winner made it 24 consecutive cuts made after hitting an even-par second-round 72.<\/p>\n

Woods was notably grimacing throughout his 23 holes after starting the day at 1-under through 13 holes on his opening round. The 48-year-old had to battle tough winds as well.<\/p>\n

The former world number one admitted after his round "it's been a long day".\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It was good fight, we did really well out there and I'm still right there in the ball game with a good chance going into the weekend," he told ESPN.<\/p>\n

"This golf course \ufeffwill expose any weakness you have, the greens are quick right now and this wind is all over the place. We have to play with a lot of wind on putts, chip shots, anything that basically gets in the air. It was a great test."<\/p>\n

Woods hit an even-par second round to be one-over for the major, featuring four birdies and four bogeys.<\/p>\n

The cut record was previously shared between Woods, Fred Couples and Gary Player, but now the 48-year-old sits above all those who came before him. \ufeff<\/p>\n
