Former Brisbane<\/a> captain Dayne Zorko<\/a> vowed to "have a word" with a younger teammate after an unsavoury incident on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

\ufeffLions player Noah Answerth was criticised for mocking Melbourne<\/a> forward Harrison Petty during the fourth quarter at the MCG<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Petty had missed a shot at goal when Answerth taunted him by rubbing his eyes and pretending to cry.<\/p>\n

Petty infamously left the field crying during a clash with the Lions in 2022.<\/p>\n

On that occasion it was alleged Zorko had sledged his opponent, referencing Petty's mother.<\/p>\n

While it was later reported that Zorko's family had also been used to taunt the Lions star, it was Zorko who publicly apologised to Petty.<\/p>\n

When Answerth mocked Petty on Thursday, AFL legend Jason Dunstall said, "I have no idea why you would go down that path".<\/p>\n

The act also left Zorko unimpressed, given it reignited his own faux pas from almost two years earlier.<\/p>\n

"I'll probably go have a word with (Answerth)," Zorko told ABC radio after the game.<\/p>\n

"That's not the way we want to win.<\/p>\n

It's not the first time Brisbane has used Petty's crying incident to taunt the Demons player.<\/p>\n

Lions player Lincoln McCarthy also mocked Petty during their 2022 semi final.\ufeff<\/p>\n
