A\ufeff battered Lachie Neale<\/a> still managed to contribute strongly in his 250th game, helping his Brisbane Lions to a 22-point win over Melbourne at the MCG on Thursday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Neale, who is a dual Brownlow Medallist, has yet to lose a milestone match in his career.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old notched up 24 touches, headlined by six score involvements and a massive eight clearances in the win.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt's the Lions second win in a decade at the MCG with the same squad, the first coming back in 2022 when they defeated the Demons again in that year's elimination final.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"If we could rush to 300 (games), that would be nice," Neale joked on Seven post match.<\/p>\n

\"Lachie<\/p>\n

"I knew that coming in, I think I said to the boys\ufeff that 'I haven't lost one yet, so don't make it tonight'.<\/p>\n

"(This milestone is) so special, I'm very lucky to have the people around me.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt was Brisbane's midfield who tore the Demons apart, led by Cam Rayner<\/a>, who collected 25 disposals and nine clearances in the win.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I thought our pressure was unbelievable," Neale said.<\/p>\n

\"Lachie<\/p>\n

"We played a very similar brand to last week and it stood up to probably the best team in the comp at the moment, really proud of the guys.\ufeff"<\/p>\n

Rayner heaped praise on the Lions veteran.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Since he's come to our footy club he's been such an awesome player and we love him so much," Rayner said on Seven post match.<\/p>\n

"How good is it that we got a win for him?\ufeff"<\/p>\n

\"Charlie<\/p>\n

But it wasn't all smiles for \ufeffthe Lions, who will now face a nervous wait regarding Charlie Cameron's fate, after a dump tackle on Melbourne's Jake Lever in the first quarter<\/a>.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The incident occurred late in the first quarter, with Lever being tackled in the Lions' forward fifty\ufeff by Cameron, before being slung to the ground and hitting his head on the turf.<\/p>\n
