F\ufefformer AFL umpire Michael Pell<\/a>, who was sacked from his job on suspicion of supplying Brownlow medal information in 2022, has launched a scathing attack on Fremantle<\/a>'sJordan Clark<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It came after the Dockers controversial 10-point loss to Carlton on Saturday night<\/a> at Adelaide Oval, which saw two umpiring decisions reward the Blues with two goals to take the win.<\/p>\n

Down by two points with just 90 seconds left in the final term, Carlton midfielder George Hewett sent a kick into the Blues' forward 50, which was then duly marked by teammate Matthew Cottrell.<\/p>\n

However, Fremantle players caused an uproar when the mark was paid, confident defender James Aish had touched the ball before Cottrell marked it.<\/p>\n

The mark was paid by the umpire and Cottrell went back to slot a goal and hand Carlton a four-point lead.<\/p>\n

With under a minute left to play, the dispute between Dockers players continued, causing even more chaos for the men in purple.<\/p>\n

Specifically, Clark was caught arguing with an umpire, which caused a dissent free kick to be paid against him in Fremantle's defensive 50.<\/p>\n

Blue Matthew Kennedy then went back to kick the goal to extend the margin to 10 points with just seconds remaining in the final term.<\/p>\n

\ufeffPell took to X the morning after the incident, with further footage released showing Clark being held back by teammates as he launched a verbal attack on the umpire following the non-touched call.<\/p>\n

The former senior umpire, who was in the job for just one year, slammed the 23-year-old's "stinky attitude".\ufeff<\/p>\n

"The irony in all this is that I warned Jordan Clark in a COVID-19 14v14 nothing game when he was a spoilt brat and carrying on, that he needed to stop abusing umpires," Pell said in a retweeted video on X.<\/p>\n

Clark was drafted to Geelong with pick No.15 in 2018, where he played 32 games between 2019 and 2021, before being traded back to his home state.<\/p>\n

When Clark was traded by the Cats, there were suggestions that he had had a falling out with former Geelong list manager Stephen Wells and former triple premiership defender Matthew Scarlett, who was an assistant coach at the time.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Clark subsequently came out publicly to clear the air and quash the reports.<\/p>\n

"My personal relationship with Matthew Scarlett, there's no animosity between us two. We can easily have a conversation and get along really well," Clark told SEN Radio in October 2021.<\/p>\n

The defender also denied reports that he hung up on Wells during a phone conversation regarding a likely trade.<\/p>\n

"I didn't hang up on 'Wellsy' and our conversation was far from heated. We had a very respectful and calm conversation, and it was more on the basis of Wellsy asking me how I was going and just checking in on me," Clark said.\ufeff<\/p>\n
