T\ufeffhe Titans<\/a> season has gone from bad to worse after Kieran Foran<\/a> failed to finish the match with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

Foran left the field in the 27th minute after he was collected awkwardly by teammate Brian Kelly in a tackle attempt.<\/p>\n

\ufeffWith the Cowboys<\/a> leading 10-0 at the time, the carnage continued as they won 35-22<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At half-time, the Cowboys led 16-0 \ufeffwith Andrew Johns describing the Titans as "diabolical".<\/p>\n

"They're putting themselves under pressure, they're not resilient enough to be able to get through that," he said on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

Johns also criticised the Cowboys, calling them "average", stating they should've been up by 30 or 40.<\/p>\n

Foran wasn't the only man to go down in the first half, with tryscorer Zac Laybutt ruled out with a suspected ACL injury within 19 minutes.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe centre was first to go over in a dominant first half with Murray Taulagi and Scott Drinkwater the other tryscorers.<\/p>\n

\ufeffForan failed to return at half-time and was subsequently ruled out but the Titans scored first through Brian Kelly.<\/p>\n

The game looked dead and buried when the Cowboys were up 28-4 in the 56th minute with tries to Drinkwater and Reece Robson.<\/p>\n

However, the Titans mounted a comeback with Jayden Campbell scoring before \ufeffforwards Sam McIntyre and Moeaki Fotuaika went off for HIAs after a heavy collision. Both men eventually returned.<\/p>\n

Campbell then sent another scare through the Titans when he was in agony after a hip drop tackle from Chad Townsend who was sin-binned.<\/p>\n

Phil Gould didn't agree with the decision.<\/p>\n

"That's tough," he said on Nine. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Townsend's departure cost the side two tries with Klese Haas and Beau Fermor going over to make it 28-22 with 14 minutes left.<\/p>\n
