E\ufeffxiled South Sydney<\/a> half Lachlan Ilias could face a long stint on the sidelines after he was helped off the field during Rabbitohs' 26-20 over the Warriors<\/a> in the NSW Cup<\/a>, following an ugly incident with Freddy Lussick.<\/p>\n

In the final play of the clash at Accor Stadium, Ilias kicked the ball with Lussick attempting a charge down\ufeff. However, the Warriors' hooker connected with the leg of Ilias in the tackle \u2014 with a fractured tibia the early diagnosis.<\/p>\n

Lussick was subsequently sent off with just seconds left on the clock.<\/p>\n

With Ilias staying down for a significant period and appearing in serious distress, both sides then came together as a wild melee erupted.<\/p>\n

As the referee attempted to control proceedings, Moala Graham-Taufa was marched to the sin bin for throwing a punch.<\/p>\n

Rabbitohs coach Jason Demetriou went up the tunnel with Ilias, who had earlier scored the try that proved the difference.<\/p>\n

He was later seen elevating his foot and using crutches.<\/p>\n

The club told Fox League \ufeffthat at this stage they believe he has suffered a fractured tibia.<\/p>\n

"No surprise it's a fracture. I'm sure I heard the snap from 20 metres away," Greg Alexander told Fox League.<\/p>\n
