Super Rugby side the Western Force<\/a> has landed a massive coup, signing game great Kurtley Beale<\/a>\ufeff for the remainder of the 2024 Super Pacific Rugby season.<\/p>\n

It comes as a much-needed pick up, with the Force having just one win under their belts after seven outings this season.<\/p>\n

Beale, at 35, brings a plethora of experience to the Force, including a successful stint with the Waratahs, winning the 2014 title, as well as time with the Melbourne Rebels.<\/p>\n

Beale's contract with the Waratahs ended while he was facing a trial for rape in Sydney. He was found not guilty in February.<\/p>\n

Force head coach Simon Cron explained the move, declaring Beale's impact will be felt immediately as the side hope to recover their season.<\/p>\n

"With the recent injury to Harry Potter, the door opens for Kurtley to join our squad. He will add valuable experience and rugby brains to our playing group," Cron said via a club statement on Saturday.<\/p>\n

"Kurtley has reached the top of the game during his playing career, playing at three World Cups, bringing up almost 100 Wallabies caps and winning a Super Rugby title."<\/p>\n

On top of his already decorated career, Cron believes \ufeffhis leadership skills will inspire the Force.<\/p>\n

"He also has very positive relationships with some of our existing squad members which was important in the decision," Cron added.<\/p>\n

"Having coached KB (Beale) before, I know he is a player who will always help to develop young talent and add to the team's leadership on field."<\/p>\n

Beale himself says he already sees the potential his new club has to offer.<\/p>\n

"There's enormous potential across the Force's playing group and I'm eager to support the momentum they're building.<\/p>\n

"I know I have plenty to offer and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue playing the game that I love," Beale said.<\/p>\n

Although his contract is until the end of this season, the Force believe Beale will become an integral part of their long term success with his impact.<\/p>\n
