R\ufeffoosters<\/a> coach Trent Robinson has described Victor Radley<\/a> sin bin as "ridiculous" after he was given his marching orders for a hip drop tackle that forced his side down to 11-men against the Bulldogs<\/a>, as his side went down 30-26 on Friday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Radley's effort left Stephen Crichton screaming in agony after landing on his ankle, to top off a chaotic night for the visitors.<\/p>\n

The sin bin came in the 72nd minute and despite the Roosters scoring after his departure they ultimately weren't able to knock off the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

Speaking post-match, Robinson slammed the decision, stating it was "below par"\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"Rads' was ridiculous. Connor (Watson)'s the one that tackles him from behind and twists his ankle \ufeffand then he falls on that ankle. How they got to that decision, that's incredible. That was below par," he said.<\/p>\n

Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo also described it as "harsh". \ufeff<\/p>\n

Radley was the second Roosters player to be sent from the field after Dom Young was sent off for a high tackle.<\/p>\n

Sam Walker and James Tedesco were also ruled out early through head knocks while Bulldogs youngster Harrison Edwards had to be stretchered off. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It was bizarre," league legend Andrew Johns described the game as on Nine's coverage of the Knights vs Dragons.<\/p>\n

"It was very awkward," commentator Warren Smith said on Fox League\ufeff at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n

Radley will now await his fate at the match review committee while Young is likely to face a ban for his reckless shot on Taafe.<\/p>\n

Tedesco was knocked out straight away in an incident after getting his head in an awkward position \ufeffwhen trying to tackle Viliame Kikau. His concussion was ruled to have category one symptoms.<\/p>\n

Sam Walker was unintentionally kneed in the back of the head by Crichton in the first half, \ufeffleaving the field with category two symptoms but he was eventually ruled out too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
